What are your unpopular car design opinions? I personally have never been a big fan of 1965-1970 Cadillac designs.

Most classics from the USA are ugly, mostly because they’re large and poorly proportioned.

1967 is one of my favorites – late 70s to 80s were far worse designs

I think designers went too far with slimming down the bumpers, it looks strange and makes small accident a big deal, it lead to government intervention where they mandated 5mph bumpers which were in turn too big.

There is no such thing as an ugly Cadillac. Now go wash out your mouth with soap.

I love the 3rd gen (71-74) Dodge Charger. It was one of the first cars that I fell in love with as a kid. I finally bought one earlier this year. I can’t tell you how many people make comments like “why didn’t you get a 68?”, and I want to say f’ck you, where’s yours?

The Plymouth Superbird is one of the ugliest cars I’ve seen. That terrible round snout up front and the god awful grocery cart handle on the back puts this homely vehicle on my UGLIEST TOP 10 list.

I know this is an unpopular opinion because they sell for BIG BUCKS.

I’d say my unpopular car design opinion is that I prefer big four door sedans over two door models. To me, most four door classics look better than their two door counterparts

1968 to 1974 Chevelle’s look like trash. 66 and 67 were absolute perfection.

The so-called fox- body Mustangs. Can’t stand them.

I love old caddies, and other American land yachts.

The 1978 Mustang King Cobra is my favorite mustang of all time.

I realize it’s one of the public’s least favorite mustangs, but I love it’s over the top looks and funky graphics package.

The engine can always be built to preform much better than stock.

Man, I’d take that caddy ragtop in a minute

I’ve never understood the appeal of the 1980’s Monte Carlo SS. Boxy design with a 180hp 305 under the hood. I mean they’re fine I guess, but not for the stupid prices some of them are bringing today.

    Haha I have a 66, it’s my favorite!!

To understand this car you need to see it from the perspective of a little kid riding in the backseat as I do. Not a great car, but a great experience.

I love the 80’s station wagons complete with stick-on wood trim. Rear-facing seat and 11 passengers? Sign me up.
