It’s so pathetic that a bunch of “CAPITALIST” countries have turned anti market protectionist tarriffers just because some stupid executive at a car company tied to national identity decided to prioritize next quarters results instead of the long term existence of the company.
Oh also this deciscion will kill people due to climate change and drive consumer costs up. Great policy- gotta protect the sacredness of really fucking dumb power point driven next quarter oriented management style. That is what is truly important in this world.

China is now going to increase Tarrifs on eu farm imports and just screw over the farmers rn during harvest season. Eu gives a lot of subsidies to their farmers.
Russian farmers would love to fill the void. They’ve been waiting to do so after all the sanctions.

IMO it is a huge geopolical risk if we allow chinese to take over the car market. You have to be out of your mind to use anything with chinese software that is connected to the internet. I wonder why people on this sub don’t realize the risk. China is a dictatorship and they say out loud that they will take Taiwan, which in practice means WW3.
