Beautiful C5!

Is there anything special about the “ZZ” license plate?

It’s a common joke that C5 Corvette owners here in America like to claim their car is rare for the most oddly specific reason. Overseas, like Norway in particular, they actually are quite rare, as for affordable fast sports cars any TVR is a better choice for you guys. I may also show some personal bias seeing this post, as I own a C5 in this same Pewter color. Not the most exciting, definitely a boomer spec color. However, mine has the rare magnesium wheels and a six-speed manual.

As a C5 owner it brings me pleasure that my car is spotted worthy. Yes I know it’s in Europe but still lol

Mean no offense at all to OP, but it’s hilarious to me there exist a world where a C5 sighting is rare lol.
I would actually like to see a day’s ride around in Norway just to get a feel for what’s on the road out there.

Now imagine a zr1 c6 in norway would probably blow up some kids face off

I am emotionally confused about the license plate placement. I like that it’s not in the middle. I don’t like that it’s off center, bolted/taped onto the bumper. I haven’t been this upset in a long time lol. Must be getting old. Get off my lawn.

Love C5’s. I’ve always been an absolute sucker for them and tons of other cars with pop up headlights as well. It’s just such a clean and iconic feature for cars IMHO.

To anyone who knows:
Is this a good corvette or a bad corvette?
Is it a capable car or a bouncy mess?

Love C5’s! It’s funny how corvettes are rare in other countries. In America they’re like a dime a dozen, at least where I live they are. The only one that I don’t see somewhat often is the C7 ZR1, I’ve probably seen more 63 split windows than I have the C7 ZR1.

They are nice because they are clean and rounded..such a contrast of last 2 versions
