Man, making cross versions really was a trend for a while, wasn’t it? One that died with the introduction of the ever present crossover SUV, but it’s a trend I really miss. Cross Polo, this, that Rover they did, the Panda(although that was an homage to the Panda 4×4 from back in the day), just goofy econoboxes suddenly getting a lift kit, extra plastic furnishing and *maybe* something special mechanically, but usually not. I still really love this era of goofy car trends.
