I’m personally a sucker for cars from dead/defunct brands, so I’d go with both Pontiacs, the real question is which Pontiac…

I love 4-doors. I am a dad. The Chevy SS is a literal dream car for me.

Of those pictured, the C5… it turned the Corvette into a serious contender at Le Mans. I love the later C4’s (especially the ZR-1), but the C5 is the reason why the C8 exists today.

The first two.. for reasons I do not feel obligated to share.

Chevrolet SS, and that’s because it’s the only LS-powered car I’ve ever been able to drive

Chevy SS. I’ve come to appreciate them a lot lately. My mom had a 2017 automatic one and that thing was surprisingly docile when you drove it like a normal human being. It would also be more than willing to let loose if you decided you didn’t wanna drive like a normal person, which was nice – and more importantly, they’re very easy to drive and super controllable.

She ended up replacing it last year with a 2023 Chrysler 300C 6.4 and while it’s a nicer ride inside and out, it’s just far more eager to break traction for no reason. Not nearly as easy to drive as the SS was.

Of the pictured: CTSV, subtle clean styling, practical, nice interior, big brakes.

All I can say is From a dynamic and stylistic viewpoint the Impala is the loser of this bunch. Any attempt to pick it / defend it would be pandering to appear quirky

Monaro EASILY (or whatever they’re called in the states)

Trans Am… Because Flip lights and T Tops and generally garish styling. And I had #1 10th Anniversary Firehawk until a couple years ago. Beauty of a beast.

FWD Ghetto shitbox anyone? I love the final gen Impala SS

    Best is a subjective term.

    Best at *what* exactly?
