Built in the 1970s, these trucks carried their own water heating & steam disinfection systems, alongside 4 private shower/decontamination stalls (as well as 12 temporary pop-up stalls that could be set up alongside the truck). It was capable of cleaning 72-92 people per hour depending on outside temperatures, and could additionally steam-disinfect up to 120 sets of undergarments per hour simultaneously. Generally few were made as they were intended for an era of CBRN warfare that never arose, but several of them were requisitioned for use in the Chernobyl cleanup.
