Fred Lambert is a walking talking boner.

  2. Yeaa if i have to pay an extra 8k for a software feature to be turned on just to receive 0%, no thanks. Not that id get one anyway. I like buttons, knobs and switches to control stuff and an instrument cluster (or these days a screen) behind the steering wheel. A giant tablet just isnt appealing to me. Others clearly like it, but it isnt for me.

Thats not a great deal, spend 8k to get 0% particularly when you can get competitive rates on auto loans now. If sales dont do well they may just offer 0% or low rates even without an 8k FSD. I guess for the few planning on buying FSD anyway its good

  4. Smackdab99

What’s the point of buying a Tesla without that option?  There are better EVs, teslas only difference is the self driving software.

  5. Cornholio231

Melon Husk is being scummy? Must be a day ending in Y.

  6. It amuses me that it says “Full Self Drive (Supervised)” so full self drive apart from when it isn’t

  7. LoPanDidNothingWrong

Spend more money on a broken feature? No thanks.

  8. Betanumerus

So sick of people misusing the word “force”.

Probably saw abysmal sales in the 1st week of Q4 and immediately had to put the 0% deal. They had 1.9(% deal until 9/30. I agree with those who say that its not a good deal as you have to spend 8K more. So base M3 is over 50K with FSD.

  10. salmon_burrito

Anyways you look at it, it’s a bad deal. Moreover, I hope that an updated Model Y is soon to be released, may be in next 6 months. Interest rate will be down by that time too. It’s a good idea to wait this time

  11. iWish_is_taken

Wow, what a horrible idea. This must have come from Elon himself. I’m sure many more people would be willing to opt for a 1.99% or whatever vs a 0% and being forced into buying shitty tech they’ll barely use for $8k??!! Wtf am I missing here??!!

  12. LongWatch1593

Fuck Tesla. Put your money in the pockets of a better company, with better management, and better minds working towards innovation that isn’t stifled by a pedophile fruitcake running the company to the ground.

This is not a deal. I get why people want them, I had one, but there are plenty of vehicles coming out that are matching capability, or soon will. Support a better company folks.

  13. And they are still advertising the per-month Finance price far lower than it will actually be at checkout, hoping to catch unaware buyers. Look for the automatically checked

“Include est. incentives of $8,000 and gas savings of $100 /mo for <your state>”

option and uncheck it, then marvel at the TRUE cost per month of the Model Y with FSD and 0%.

Dishonest salesmanship to the core, Tesla is showing that they are not a company to be trusted, up front.

  14. JeepJohn

Still not willing to buy. Neat tech. But it’s overpriced and over hyped.

  15. occitylife1

0% or 1.99% in the current car market are great rates compared to most other legacy companies. Not sure if there’s a better deal out there.

  16. sparx_fast

This is HUGE… There will be tens of buyers 😆

  17. Jdsmitty10

It would take 7 years to spend $8000 on the monthly FSD.. most people don’t keep their cars that long. Dumb deal.. only good if you want a different color and plan to keep over 7 years.. better deal is the 84 month 1.9% then pay it off in 72 or less months but you are stuck with grey if you want the performance.

  18. Iyellkhan

musk saying a tesla is an “appreciating asset” is just factually false

  19. Extra_Marsupial1682

If you still believe “full self” driving in 2024, you are the dumbest bitch alive.

  20. mrbigglessworth

There was a time I thought I would like a Tesla 3 or Y sometime. But since the cyber truck and twitter snd his sucking up to trump I’ll exclude Teslas (even used at a great price ) in favor or any other EV at this point.

  21. hotbox-benz

So nobody is forcing you, it’s just a package deal.

  22. Skidpalace

Please don’t buy a Tesla until the board gets rid of Elon Musk.

I don’t even want an electric car yet but I will commit to buying a Tesla when they do.

This guy who was once a visionary and a prodigy, is now an enemy of the state openly committing election fraud.

  23. hotbox-benz

I don’t understand what’s happening in the comment section but wow, so much hate/jealousy or whatever it is for a company offering a 0% package deal.. unreal. You people need to get a grip and relax a little.

  24. perrochon

In terms of monthly payments and total cost (price, interest, tax), this is basically free FSD (depending on whatever rate and car you get).

FSD also gives you selection of interior and exterior colors, which can be thousands more savings if you don’t want the default.

Finance without FSD at 5.95% or finance with FSD at 0% for the same “low monthly payment” of ~$800. This is loan calculator, including taxes and fees, closer to the final than the Tesla Web site.

This is for a 48k MY AWD LR no extras, CA with taxes, with only the 7500 (IRA) down payment. 72 months.

  25. Assistss

Just finance for 84 months and you get the deal but without FSD

  26. PM_ME_MASTECTOMY

People dumb enough to buy it at 15k, def dumb enough to buy it at 8k with 0% financing.

  27. in_allium

My Model 3 is quite nice to drive. I’m not particularly keen on paying a robot 8k to drive it badly.

  28. FSD needs no arm twisting. It’s the greatest value proposition Tesla offers. I always use FSD when I drive.. been a game changer for me; an obvious win.

I suspect that anyone that thinks FSD is bad hasn’t really tried it and simply pontificating for points.

  29. SecretBG

It’s a win-win situation. Consumers benefit from 0% financing, while Tesla collects valuable real-world data from more vehicles using FSD, helping to further refine and improve the technology.
