Given they dropped the sales price for the base model that 117k record will stand for a while.

Vehicles sold will go up, though.

Around here there are now multiple sightings a day. They are easy to spot, though 🙂

  2. They’re still the shiny new object. This was expected for the near term. Let’s see what happens once they’re a bit more common and they lose the “look at that!” factor.

how is the Average “Sale Price” rising? It’s still 100k on the website assuming you’re a doofus who paid Tesla to Beta Test the truck for 20k….

    Am I missing something?

I see them everyday now and can’t believe how popular they are in my local area.

I’ve been seeing a lot of them around. What a travesty.

Hope they’re making them faster than they are breaking.

Which begs the question; who are these idiots.

I’m getting flashbacks to how it used to feel when I saw a Model 3. I initially would see one if I was lucky on my way home for work, and then over the months I’d see more and more, and now they are by far one of the most dominant cars I see. I’m starting to see something similar with the Cybertruck. This spring and summer it was rare for me to see one, and usually it had a crowd around it. Now I may see two or three in a single trip home from work.

I dislike tesla and its fans **but I welcome the news.** The more EVs on the street the better. Less ICE and more BEVs….except for BZ4SEX and BOLTS. F* them both.

I feel like we’re drifting further and further from the original $39,900 price.

One benefit to the Cybertruck for Tesla is that it isn’t seen as a truck, it’s more of a unique novelty. Doubt the people buying F-150s are getting this, but those people aren’t likely buying the EV F-150 either

In Southern California they’re almost everywhere now.
