    Nice!

I’m personally out on non CarPlay options, but I love to see all EV sales going great!

Price price price. As amazing as these lease deals are, they indicate the actual price that customers think these cars are worth.

I helped. Picked up an Equinox last month. So far I’m liking it. Even got a road trip in there.

They have to surprise us with a sedan at some point, right? A stylish Caddy or even Buick Electra and learn from Dodge Daytona’s mistakes on a sporty Chevrolet.

So much for pushing back on proprietary Android interface

  6. I saw both Blazer and Equinox EVs within the same block. They are going to be very popular as an upgrade from Bolt owners.

The crazy battle for first loser rages on!

I recently upgraded from a 2023 Bolt to a 2024 Lyriq and damn does it drive like a dream.

The Acura ZDX came with air suspension and adjustable thigh support making it even more comfortable but it was too pricey compared to the Lyriq. Same MSRP but much fewer discounts.

All this talk about sales booming but how much did they actually sell?

I got a 23 Lyriq in May, fully loaded for 1k down, 450 a month, 24 months, 12k miles/yr. I loved it so much I added a Blazer EV LT in June for 0 down, 288 month, 24 months 10k miles a year.

They are both awesome vehicles (The Lyriq has CarPlay, the Blazer doesn’t but honestly it doesn’t make much of a difference in my experience.), and I have had zero problems with either other than the mobile app is super buggy.

I got a charge point LV 2 charger installed a month later at home. It’s EV all the way for me from here. I am lucky in that my rural electric co-op only charges 7 cents a kWh for off peak electricity so “fuel” is dirt cheap. And their power mix is 80 percent carbon free (mostly nuclear and hydro power), so my carbon footprint is very modest.

Incidentally, I’m 44 years old and these are my first EVs and my first GM purchases. The last GM product in my life was growing up with my parents 1985 Oldsmobile Delta 88. What a boat that was, probably got like 12 mpg.

I recently grabbed a Lyriq lease for a ridiculously low price. Funny thing, it’s a better EV than all my previous ones. With supercharger access available, it makes EV ownership a breeze.

320 miles range for $27k5 after tax credit
    $24.5k if you have a bolt? It’s a No brainer !

GM is beating everyone else in the market on affordable EV. Like are u going to seriously spend 36-40k on Ioniq 5 with 240 range?

I’m glad Chevy seems to be doing well.

If Lyriq and Blazer/Equinox deals are an indicator, then I am trembling in anticipation at their Vistiq and Escalade IQ deals, not to mention the inevitable Yukon Denali/Tahoe/Suburban EVs.

I saw the new Silverado EV and I won’t lie, it looked pretty sweet!

  15. All for it. Cautionary note for them is discounts will impact profits. So if they are moving volume, great. But if profits suffer. Not great.

  16. And yet in their subreddit, GM people will continue to parrot right-wing FUD about how nobody wants them. They’re selling EVs despite their employees (and especially their dealers).

  17. Speculawyer

Not as much as I want them to boom but they finally are getting more Ultium sales. Woo-hoo! Keep refining that software. Software is never finished.

I guess they are killing the Ultium branding (which is probably a good idea)…so what do we call them now? I guess just “GM EVs”?

  18. Fluentec

Yea I am actually in the process of buying an Equinox EV myself. Just wondering about the level 2 charger installation though

  19. pinegap96

Cause they’re basically giving them away. Couldn’t give me a GM product for free 👎🏼
