The AMC Pacer. It’s rear end is a trip

After watching Leno’s programs, and intentionally excluding things like the weinermobile, i gotta go with the old Citroën. I want one so bad.

    Toyota pod concept

    Plymouth Voyager 3 concept

Both designed are definitely a field day of unconventional

The Tesla Cybertruck is up there. “Unconventional” isn’t always a good thing.

I was going with the Isetta or the Messerschmitt.

  6. Citroen DS, at least at the time. Disc brakes, adjustable suspension, semi auto gearbox, tonnes of safety features, no jack needed to change a wheel

Out of your photos the Egg and the Scarab are both pretty nutty!

I was a fan of the Aztec that came with the pop out camper back and interior you could spray down with a hose. Exterior was pretty normal but interior was definitely unconventional.

I was impressed but how much the scarab got driven by its owner, supposedly the blue one has 400,000 miles on it

Alfa Brera. That car is really pretty, but no idea why, since it’s a kinda stretched 2 door hatch, and it at least looks like it has a lot of rear over hang. I want one!

Only six Africars got made but it could make the list. And the original Marcos GT’s with the plywood frame

Man, I was unaware the first El Camino had those fins! Love it!

For its time, the Citroen Traction Avant. You mean to tell me this car is driving with the FRONT wheels???????

Gurgel X-15. It looks like a weird personnel transport vehicle but it was designed for civilian use

For those who don’t know, Gurgel was a Brazilian car maker. There were a lot of car makers in Brazil between the 60s and 90s, but just like any other 3rd world car makers, they used engines and parts from vehicles of larger brands (in Brazil’s case, Volkswagen and GM) and they mostly built sporty or unusual cars. Gurgel was the exception, they were the only ones to try to build common daily use cars that were affordable for poor Brazilians and they would develop their own engines. But in the company’s early days, they were just like all other companies building extremely unusual vehicles with Volkswagen and GM engines

Stout Scarab, the official influence for the Tesla Robovan, looking like the car of the future in 1938.

holy shit it’s the fallout bubble car!!!

  17. Good god you’ve reminded me of just how much I love that Renault Spider, it’s such a weird little car but it has real racing pedigree. Must be a blast to drive.

That electric egg thing is litterally a zip from fallout 4

Any of the later TVRs. If I had to pick, probably the Sagaris.
