Very few of these work trucks survived, and this one is going to be a full tear down and rebuild. I bought this truck about 4 years ago and I’ve been eagerly waiting to start on the project. Finally the day has come!
Going to do a frame off restoration and document the project the best I can. Every nut and bolt 100% stock!

The 292 is an awesome motor! That’s a great truck! Could be an old Forest Service truck? My dad had 69 2wd short bed with a 250 I think. I kind of wish my 73 short bed was a 6.
It’s got the straight six 250 cid.
