There needs to be a list of $3000 vintage cars. Because this is one of them.

Like the AMC Rambler, even though it’s from the ’60s, it’s so devoid of personality, that nobody wants them. 66 Valiant, or 66 Beetle? This car will cost you 1/3 of the Beetle, and it’s just about 3 times the car. It’s just BETTER. But in the end, it’s boring. Which is the worst thing a car can be.

Comedian and auto enthusiast Mort Sahl once said (roughly around the period this car was built) that, if the federal government built a car, it would be a 4 door Plymouth Valiant, so there’s that…🤷‍♂️

Bland, boring, dull, but not a bad car. Just incredibly dull.

My friend at 16 who was a fundie and inherited one from his grandma but was too pussy to power brake the 318 into a burnout and then donated it to his church.

    What a waste.

  7. Damn near indestructible, as long as the rust doesn’t get out of hand.
