Bit of a miss here for me. Too many straight angles. I don’t get why designers think that if a car has electric motors that it should look sterile.

I also disagree with most about the 12c… I think it’s beautiful and even the black graphics work. Here those graphics don’t make sense.

Compare this to the laferrari and it seems much less refined.

1200hp v6 twin turbo hybrid, I think it’s cool, not as groundbreaking design wise as the other big 6 supercars but considering the enzo looked a bit weird I’m all for it.

I actually like it. Probably looks better in person too. Although, I don’t think it’s the hottest Ferrari they made or anything but it is far from being bad or terrible, imo.

  4. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m finding this generation of hypercars (see also the new McLaren W1) a lot less visually appealing than the prior generation (e.g., LaFerrarri, P1), which is kind of disappointing.

When the P1, LaFerrari, and 918* were released, I was in awe of how the designers mated such amazing technical prowess with such drop-dead gorgeous design.

I can appreciate the performance numbers of the W1 and F80, but they don’t quite visually “stir the heart” in the same way.

*Edit: put the wrong Porsche number down my accident

I can only say i don’t dislike it.

I love it. A little bit Daytona, a little bit F40 and a touch of Cyberpunk. Fuck yeah.

  7. These new generational hyper cars feel so insignificant. Both Ferrari and McLaren make so many limited production high performance models that the W12 and F80 don’t stand out like the F1 and F50 did.

The F80 is cool but the SP3 has a much more striking and iconic appearance with a NA V12.

The W12 is nice but what about the Senna, Speed Tail, Solus GT, and Sabre.

Porsche’s next hyper car will really be the only one that stands from the brand lineup like a generational car should except its electric so who cares.
