Cars

It’s 2018, you’re in your mid-20s, and while you have a solid daily, you’ve got enough cash and mechanical talent to try and attempt a project car.

  1. 240sx because that means I have $15,000 lol. But also because it’s a really fun car to drive

Honda. Parts are plentiful and inexpensive. Not to mention it’s a Honda, so intuitive to work on. I had a 1996 Honda Accord LX sedan 5 speed manual, that I basically rebuilt in my driveway as I paid $400 for the car, and it started, ran roughly and kinda stopped. $1200 later in parts from RA it was fantastic.

I’m gonna have to vote Cherokee…. I grew up with an XJ and wish I still had it. Aside from the cracked exhaust manifold (which I’m sure it has) the engines run forever!

$800 for a solid caprice wagon and then throw in a junkyard LS for a cheap, fast, and very functional bitchin wagon? Hell yeah! throw on some new wheels, lowering springs, big tires, replace the back seats with a mattress and have the fastest shaggin wagon in town!

8.1 vortec and 6 speed in a B body all the way.

I’m going for the VW Bus sitting in the background of the 240SX picture…

A Continental with a 5.0 would be insane

Aaaand you literally put my daily in there as a project. (Caprice)

My projects irl are ‘66 Tbird and a ‘73 Valiant but if I was to do it over again I would have done a ‘75 Laguna S3 and a ‘47 Lincoln Continental

240sx, I’d sell it and put the money in my evo fund
