Progressive design with the Audi RS Q e-tron | Audi x Lego

Some of my earliest memories with Lego bricks was building trucks, planes. Mostly, I always had a passion with cars. To bring a car into Dakar and being a part of that was very special to me. I have to pinch myself every time I look at it. The beginning of a project

You charge yourself with inspiration and then starting with a clean sheet of paper sketching out ideas very much the old school, analog way with a pencil. and then jumping into 3D to build up whatever we’ve imagined. It kind of reminds me of building something out of Lego bricks

‘cus you have to think of all the elements fitting together in a way which is aesthetically appealing. and you see all the functions of the mechanical parts of the suspension, the motor, the differentials. and for a child it’s easier to understand. My advice to anybody who wants to become a car designer

Is to do what you’re really passionate about. Then work doesn’t feel like work.
