Drivers can trailer with hands-free with Super Cruise, on compatible vehicles. While trailering with Super Cruise, the system will calibrate to the gross combined weight rating of the truck and trailer. Which means that Super Cruise with trailering can increase the following distance behind vehicles, and allow more time and room for braking.
It also uses vehicle dynamic inputs to determine if the trailer is swaying, then hands back control to the driver if the swaying is over a certain threshold.
