Was like and um we’ve had it for a while now and well it’s got a go now I’m kind of done with it so yeah cuz you done like a whole series of yeah you initially bought it did you do a range test on it that’s the biggest question
Cuz I’ve got would drive this car from from A to B today right okay I see and that’s something I’m a bit concerned about have you done a range test on I’ve done a range test I don’t know how far you you’re going but I managed to do a
Range test we did 66 miles in it okay but the main question which is how far can this Nissan LEAF go is 66 M dead on a full charge with about a third of the battery health um depleted um that was in the summer though M and in the winter
You know electric cars get a bit rain it’s cold today man it’s cold it’s freezing so um it’s not going to do 66 miles today okay it might do between 40 and 50 how far are you going I don’t actually know I’m going to have a look

It’s the cheapest Nissan Leaf in the country cheapest electric car in the country yeah I think we haven’t talked about PR there might be some they might be some others where you can there’s a renal Zoey where you can lease the battery so the battery is not included
In the price so they might be cheaper but then you got to pay monthly for the B 450 quid a month I think yeah with this I think it is the cheapest cheapest and this is literally this particular car is literally the cheapest electric cuz we we haven’t spoken about money yet
But we kind of know where we’re going to end up roughly I think yeah yeah yeah we both use auto traders to value our cars because it’s to goto place to value a car exactly that’ll guide us about the yeah where we should land and then you
Know we’ll have a little arm wrestle yeah it flipper coin okay so let’s look at what range we’ve got on the full charge I think that’s important yeah all right I got and then we’ll talk about price after yeah okay mate cool 58 58 miles 58 and it’s got eco mode 58
It’s still it’s actually got an eco mode what is in eco mode eco mode just it makes it slower basically okay so you use a bit less power I thought it would um give me a bit more but yeah 58 is what it says is the maximum you’re going
To get from this okay when I bought this car the the woman said to me don’t use the heat in don’t just don’t use anything cuz it does kill the battery yeah she also was quite okay if you turn the heat in on you’re going to get 50
Have you just done that it just G down to and it to 50 I didn’t oh my God cuz she actually bought some um plugin heated seat covers were they on the car when I gave yeah yeah I might have them in the garage it’s all right

Over two grand yeah two grand for this okay but the big question I ask everyone when buying a car is is there anything wrong with it anything I need to know about uh yes you’re not going to believe this but before I headed out this morning i’ done a car vertical check on
This car to make sure all the background history was good and when I done that check I did discover some issues so you can see here we’ve got green ticks for damage and finance and also one here to say it’s never been stolen before which is brilliant but if you look at odometer
There’s an Amber flag and then when you scroll down it says that the car could potentially have mileage that has been tampered with and then if you scroll down to the mileage graph you can see it’s all very consistent at the most recent part of its life but if you go
Back to the beginning in 2015 you can see the mileage spikes right up to 22,000 Mi but if you look a bit closer you’ll see that on the same day in October 2015 the car was also recorded with just over 8,000 Mi so you’d assume
It just an error at anot garage which is a very common thing but to back that up I done a national mileage register check on it just to make sure it’s all good on the mileage register and that has thankfully got a tick here’s an example of a crash Nissan
Leaf looks like it’s just had a little front end but this is exactly what you do not want to see when doing a car vertical check when buying your new car I’ll link car vertical in the description below make sure when you buy a car you do your checks cuz you never

Of people say electric cars don’t need brakes because they use regen braking but the leafes they’re notorious for not having really good regen so the it uses brakes you need new discs and pads um okay couple of little bodyw work things here and there nothing major like
There’s a little be fair for the age of the car yeah a little dink on the back there I notic but for the age of the car it’s pretty tidy is it it’s all right it’s all right I even sort of semi-washed it for you yeah no it’s

Mi out of it so I’m currently doing 64 mil and it’s just dropped straight down to 46 Mi of range like we’ve just dropped we’ve just lost 10 Mi of range in a space of about 2 mi so it’s um it ain’t a car for going on well motorways
Definitely not but not even drill Carriage wavs really so uh 45 it’s just gone down another mile getting done by three Series so I’m kind of taking it easy but 25 mil is kind of worst case scenario but that was on a hot day and
