Vitilan T7 Full Suspension Mountain E-bike – Detailed Review #2
Oh yeah there’s a bee in my helmet a bee in my helmet this is the vidalin t7 full suspension mountain bike now let’s get into the specs right off the bat just in case you think you might want to order it which will be links down the description as well with discount codes
Going on and there’s always different price ranges with these bikes sometimes they go up sometimes they go down right now I was reviewing this thing it’s $2,000 it is a 48v ebike you have your 20 amp hour battery right here tucked into the frame really nice and hidden
You don’t see it looks really gorgeous especially with this nice chameleon paint job that we have on it you’re going to have to see it out in the sun trust me it is just beautiful looking it is an extra $100 though to get this type
Of paint you do have a nice buang motor in the back these things are really reliable and Powerful so it’s 750 WS with a peak of 1,200 w but I have taken this bike back and forth to work already and the display was telling me a little bit over 1 12200
Watts when it was peing so it’s a good motor it’s not super torqu or anything like that it’s real gradual to get up to speed but that’s probably for quality and just not having issues with the motors and the gears going out and warranty issues and stuff like that but
Still a very good bike to kind of ride around the biggest thing you’re going to like about it is if you are a pedal Enthusiast you can pedal this thing without feeling like you’re ghost pedaling at 28 mph and I’ll show you guys later when we get on the GoPro also
The throttle it’s a class 3 ebike but the throttle will go up to 28 mph without having to Pedal it doesn’t cap out at 20 like most bikes do that are legal that’s a very nice feature I think let me sit on the bike really quick for
You guys so you can see if it might be a bike that suits you I’m 59 for reference and my knees are bent I feel perfectly fine on this bike no issues I heard there is an issue though with all people and I didn’t even think about it until I
Looked at the bike and realized the suspension runs right in the middle which means your seat post is that short and the minimum insertion is right here so that means all this is gone and that’s all you got right there so if you are a taller person probably over 6’2
You want to go down to your local bicycle store and replace this with a longer one probably 20 bucks or so and then you can get it to sit a lot higher here are how the lights look the headlight is fantastic very very bright
And you can see as I move it away it lights up so much in this garage and there are no lights on in here other than one light above me but we run into our first con of this bike and that is there is no rear brake light and I’m
Talking there is no light whatsoever other than that reflector I had to put my own little light on there just so people can see me when I rode it the other day let’s move on to this battery now to charge it with it on the bike you have this waterproof connector right
There so no water should get in there so you can charge it right here if you do not want to take the battery off but if you want to take the battery off this is why you have the keys the keys don’t work for an ignition nothing like that
So to take the battery off you got to turn it all the way to the left it’s not going to come out because there’s one latch up here that you have to do all the way to the side and then the battery’s a little tight to get out then
It just pulls out just like that now it does have a button right in here that will show you where the charge state is at it’ be green blue or red and here are some the specs of this battery right here it is a Samsung 20 amp hour battery
You can screenshot that if you want and if you want to charge it off of the bike the plug is right there now on the front of this bike we have mzo front suspension feels very good while riding and we got our Tetro hydraulic brakes right here all blacked out then you have
Tekro 180 mm rotors on the front and the back and here is a look at that free Fender that we got with the bike if you order it right now the only bad thing about this Fender is it doesn’t have the loops back here that bolt to the forks
Which it does have the holes for it but this Fender doesn’t have it so what that means is this is not stable in the back so when you’re riding Offroad or going through some stuff this is definitely going to move and hit your tire here’s a
Look at that cable management up front I like the fact that you can hide all those wires behind the headlight so it makes it a very nice clean look this is probably one of the best things about this bike is this shock right here you have so many adjustments so you can fill
It up up with air or you can take air out depending on how you like to ride and get it to your riding preference you also have a rebound knob right here and then the blue one right there is to lock out the suspension so right now it’s
Open and this is in the middle and this means it’s locked out and won’t go anywhere now you can get a rack for this bike it does have the bolts right here so if you want to add one you can they do have them on their website you have a
Preload adjustment right here on the left side and then over here you have an ABS adjustment which is super nice this thing is nice and clicky probably one of the best feeling adjustment knobs I’ve ever felt on a bike that thing feels really fun to just play with in this box
Right here you’re going to have your 25 amp controller along with all your other connections of the bike so if you have any issues or warning errors or anything going on the bike you might want to take this cover off and take a peek and see if something came disconnected this bike
Comes with some of the best pedals these are metal and these things are knobby as heck so this should definitely stick onto your shoes you have an adjust possible kickstand you can raise it and lower it with the set screw that’s right behind here here’s a closer look at that
Motor and your 8-speed as well with the Altus derailer your charger is 3 amps now the box that they give you comes with a charger and then it also comes with tools to put it together and then you also have the owner’s manual as well in here you got leather grips up top
They also lock in place right below that we have our horn and then you have your plus and minus for pedalist assyst up and down your power button to turn the display on and then if you hit the manual button twice you can get into the settings the advanced settings the code
Is 1801 so if you need to get in there to change some stuff but don’t do it if you don’t know what you’re doing and here is your nice gear levers right here I like this the fact that they don’t have a thumb throttle they have a half
Twist throttle allows you to have this and I love it because it’s so much easier to use your thumb to hit that and of course another half loing grip on this side now what I want to show you on this bike is turning it on and kind of
Going through the settings of what you can do and just how the screen looks it’s a very gorgeous looking screen very bright it’s probably getting a little bit washed out by the lights I have up top hope this says a little bit better for camera angle let move this over just
A tad and you can see that we have our degrees outside so you see how hot it is you also have a speed meter kind of like a car gauge and it goes up to 50 mph but we’ll never hit that this is a 28 mph bike you do have a battery indicator
Right here the voltage does not show up on there normally but you can go in the settings and put that on there or you instead of having voltage you could put percentage super cool that they give you those two options or actually three options depending on what you want to
See on your display you can see our uh total miles that we have for the trip I had 8.7 miles on here this is our wattage right there and then this is the gear that you’re in so when you hit the plus and minus buttons you can also have
Three five 7 and N or maybe 6 and nine so you can do that if you want and then your mile per hour is down here if you don’t go off that gauge and you can see it’s getting a little bit hotter but it
Is a very nice day and to get into the settings you double tap the M button you can do the brightness level so right now we have it at five the unit system is Imperial voltage indicator if you want to change that and put percentage we can
And if you double tap it again look check that out now it says 100% on that display super super cool and I’ll zoom in if you guys cannot see that so hopefully that’s a little bit more visible so let’s get back in there and let’s see I’m GNA go back to voltage
Because I really like seeing my voltage and then auto assist is something cool we got to try out when we’re riding so that will actually bump us from PSA 1 the two to three and four and five automatically as you increase in speed I don’t know how realistically and
Accurate that’s going to be if it’s even worth doing that but it’s just kind of cool that it almost has like an automatic transmission in a way and then real time clock display so I guess you can have the clock on there if you want clock settings so you have tojust the
Time on there unit temperature depending on how you want to be and then advanced settings this is where you got to do the 1 80 and one so if you guys want to know how to get in there do not change the power system you can change the wheel
Speed if you want but it’s probably going to be inaccurate if you do and then your limit it goes up to 45 km per hour I couldn’t change that our current limit is 50 amps but the controller can only do 25 so that’s not going to do anything assist level five you can
Change this like I said so you get three five six and N okay so I was right so six and nine not seven that’s kind of not normal normally it goes 579 so I’m just going to leave it on five PS in the motor you don’t want to mess with assist
Poles you don’t want to mess with throttle level not exactly sure clockwise start not sure cruise control I left that on cuz this bike does have cruise control super nice to use on Long roads and then throttle not exactly sure what that is so I’m not going to mess
With anything I don’t know but that’s pretty much everything you do on this bike let’s give you guys a quick rev of this motor so you can see it rotate one cool thing about these tires are the lettering on the side so when you’re cruising down the road that looks pretty
Sick and I will say that this is a pretty quiet motor but what’s not quiet is that horn I was telling you jeez that’s so loud all right so that should be everything you need to know on the bike I’m sorry it was very long it was actually raining earlier so
I figured it was just going to keep raining all day but it looks like it might be okay to go ride so let’s go take this thing out for a spin and see how it does with our heel test off-road test and just have fun with it all right
So unfortunately that’s not going to work so it looks like it is going to rain in about 13 minutes so we’re going to have to do this another day all right ladies and gentlemen we switched over to the GoPro it’s been a few days thank you for the birthday wishes I’m actually on
Vacation shooting this video right now because it’s been raining like crazy and you can tell the weather’s changing as I’m riding right now the sun just went away almost completely but I want to see what our top speed is in pedal assist 5 and and it’s showing 28 mph and it has a
Hard cut so as soon as it hits 28 mph if it tries to go any faster than that it will literally cut your power and you’ll feel it you’ll feel your whole body kind of lunge forward thank you car but yeah so I just have my phone with GPS right
Now I’m going to pull over right now and check and verify if it’s 28 M hour or not all right with looking at my phone it says 28 mph if you guys can see that on there so that is 100% accurate what we’re hitting and now what I want to see
Is if I can trick it and go faster if I change the wheel diameter speed let’s go down to 20 in and I know my speed is going to be off but I’m just doing this to see if we’ll get any more speed out
Of it or if it’s going to go slower so here we go with our 20in diameter wheel I see 20 coming up we’re definitely very far from 28 mph but I feel like we’re going that fast already it just that’s off all right so I’m getting 23 mph solid nothing’s
Changing it’s not going up or down let me see if GPS says we went any faster oh dang so we hit 32 mph if you guys can see that on my phone so tricking the wheel diameter gives you more top speed that’s crazy so if you guys want to buy
This bike it will do 32 m per hour for you but just keep in mind that the speed on here is not going to be accurate but that is super cool so I changed it back to the 28 in wheel diameter just so you guys know exactly what speed I’m going
Till it’s accurate during the whole video we’re going to see if this bike will hit 27 milph before we run out of stretch of road right here most of my bikes on average are about 26 to 27 if it’s over 27 it’s faster if it’s under
27 it’s on the slower end of ebike here we go throttle only 1 2 3 I also want you guys to pay attention to that this has a gradual slow start maybe you guys might not think that cuz we’re already hitting 20 M an hour in just a few
Seconds but from 0 to like 6 or 0 to 8 it definitely takes some time and we’re at 50 volts right now 27 and there we go 28 so it’s actually on the faster end of the ebikes that we review and that’s because we have a very good buang motor
Back here all right so now I’m going to try just the pedals only from a 0 mph start and we’re just going to see how it feels pedaling this bike and we’re going to go through the gears as well and I’ll tell you how that feels so here we go
One two 3 Let’s Go definitely a faster start if you use the pedals instead of using the throttle I definitely felt like there was no lag and wow these gears feel phenomenal and there’s absolutely no ghost pedaling at all I feel like I’m jamming on this
Thing that is amazing if you guys need a bike to go super fast class three and you want to feel connected to the bike so you get a little bit of a workout in hands down a great bike now let me give you a good look at the color of this
Bike now that we’re out and the sun is shining directly above us check this thing out can you guys see the color of this bike it is absolutely gorgeous this thing is worth the extra $100 that you will pay for this if you don’t want to
They have two other colors I know one’s like a bumblebee yellow and black it stands out a lot I feel like this is kind of it Blends in at night it looks like a black bike during the day it still looks like a black bike but when
You see it from certain angles as someone’s looking at you when you’re passing by him you’re going to get a little bit of that rain color and just going to have that extra shine to it I love it the biggest complaint though I have and I’m going to be a little
Worried when we go up this hill and try out the hill test and go off-roading is these tires these tires are huge and massive but they’re very very thin any type of goat head right here in the middle of this tread will flatten this tire very easy so I highly suggest
Carrying a backpack with some tire slime with a shred valve remover so you can put the slime in there put the shredder valve back in and you can go on your way and hopefully uh be okay to get back home now here comes the hill test we’re
Going to start right at the very bottom and I’m going to use throttle only and I’ll come back and do this test with pedaling as well so here we go one two 3 pedal assist five you can see it has a gradual start
Oh no is it not going to make it oh that barely made it I did not take my feet off but that was still not really passing I’ve had bikes that will make it up that without pedaling at all and kind of surprised that this one didn’t like I
Said it’s a very gradual starting ebike it’s not going to throw you off or anything like that it feels good when the power comes on but it doesn’t really come on until like 8 or 10 miles hour then it starts picking up but what I’m
Going to try to do right now is I’m going to use a throttle and the pedals as well and let’s see how much better it gets us up this hill so here we go one 2 3 start with the throttle give it a little bit of pedal action and there you
Go it gets up that hill no problem if you pedal but what happens if you just use the pedals without the throttle well we’re about to try that out right now so here we go pedals only no throttle 1 2 3 come on engage oh there we go oh yeah no
Problems whatsoever so if you’re coming up a hill ladies and gentlemen just use the pedals to help assist the bike and you’ll be perfectly fine now we’re where this bike should shine and we got some people so we got to be a little careful there’s definitely handling everything
Great I will come back because there was that guy over there so we’re just going to uh get through this real quick and try out another test cuz I think that guy owns this field and I don’t want to get kicked out right now now we got to
Try out the braking test we’re going to go as fast as we possibly can hey we’re hitting 29 mph but here we go 28 we’re going to slam on these brakes 1 2 3 go woo all right all right it’s always the funnest part of the test this thing
Definitely stopped pretty good you can see my big fat skid mark I hit it right before I hit that slab of cement right there because I was trying to get the good stopping power as possible to see where this bike was going to land most bikes that stop that end up right here
At this line are really good and they stop slightly after it they’re a little bit bad if they stop after that line right here they’re probably some of the worst bikes I ever review on this channel but this one is not that bad especially for how big it is it stopped
Decently well I’m going to try that test one more time and see if we get any better than that one two three okay wait I stopped way better than I did the last time hold on how did that work that line is right there how did I
Stop so damn more better maybe the brakes are like breaking in right now hold on I got to do that for a third time hold up all right okay so I think maybe I wasn’t at the top speed as last time because I didn’t feel that Governor kick in but
Here we go so I’m almost in the same spot I was on my first test maybe a little bit better because the brakes are kind of breaking in better I guess you could say so not too bad that’s the line right there and uh not really good I
Think for a big bike this size all right let’s go a little bit off-roading I’ve never actually been out here so let’s hope we don’t get a flat or nothing but we’re going to chance it if I start to seeing anything on the tires we’re tur
It back we’ll just make sure we don’t fall in that water over there all right let me sit down and get a real feel of how it is it’s really not bad it’s probably one of the best bikes to go off-roading with the only thing I
Wish this bike had was a suspension seat post you can easily get those at your bicycle store that will add on to the suspension that you have on the bike already and I think it would be phenomenal at that point and is now actually pretty smooth so I don’t have
To worry about bumps or anything like that it was just back there it was pretty bad but the bike still handle it perfectly fine the one thing I am noticing though is when you hit a lot of bumps you get some chain Rattle and the reason why there’s chain rattle is
Because there is no frame guard right here so the chain comes in contact with the bike and this can overall start scratching your paint so if you don’t have anything you can order them on Amazon but if you get the bike in and forget to put some like duct tape or
Electrical tape right here just so you can save your paint until you get like a nice sleeve to go right there and that will get rid of a little bit of noise on this bike as well if you’re going to be kind of Reckless Offroad with it where
The heck am I I don’t never come out this way this bike is pretty stable too check this out so cruise control you can let your hands go as long as you get your balance right the bike will Coast perfectly fine it’s make sure you have a flat road I don’t suggest doing
That not a good road to be on not a good road to be on there is no bike lane this is sketchy as hell even that old guy looked Serv for me so the car that’s behind me needs to go around me thank you they were just

Trees have really grown and cruise control did not help right there because I felt like I almost lost it not too bad let’s come up this thing oh yeah yeah not a problem you hear that noise it’s coming from the chain oh yeah there’s a bee in my helmet a bee in my
Helmet never had a bee hit my helmet and actually go like inside that was great but it is be season and that’s where they have a lot of bees in that uh that area so that was great and right now I don’t know and I wish I
Knew for you guys so my apologies I’m going to go off my phone on how many miles it says because this did not reset when I got back on the bike you have to reset your trip every single time that you stop the bike or it won’t reset
Something I noticed so the time that it says I’ve been on this bike is an hour and 21 minutes or 22 minutes now that is inaccurate that has been since I have owned the bike and how long I’ve actually been riding it now if I go and
Hit the power button it says our trip is 17 Mi I have not went 17 Mi that is in total since I’ve owned the bike and if I come over here odometer the same thing as our trip so I’m going to have to pull up my phone and we’re going to see how
Many miles we’ve went so far okay that’s more like it so I’ve been out here for 35 minutes our distance has been 8 1/2 miles so 8.56 mil max top speed was 3 two when we uh hacked it to make it think we were going slower than we were average speed
Has been 14 I basically been on the throttle the whole entire time so for 8 and 1/2 miles we are exactly at 49.9 volts I’m just going to say that’s 50 volts flat because it is going to jump up a little bit so there you go I’ll put
The voltage chart on there so you can see where our battery percent is right now for how far we went here’s one thing you guys will probably want to know so if I’m pedaling the bike and I’m not using the throttle how much power is it giving me 1,25 watts and
Then when it hit the cut off it went down to 300 W if I use the throttle it gives me the same amount of power so there you go on that that’s some information you might want to know but then what happens if I use a throttle
And I pedal it gives me exactly the same amount of power look at this dude over here pedaling come on man got to go Electric got to get that electric power going all right I’m going to go around yeah I can’t sit there and pedal
Too slow even if you do want to Pedal this bike you definitely can but I would still suggest always getting some type of electric bike even if it’s a 250 or 500 wat motor it feels so much better when you’re just tired or drained and you just don’t want to Pedal at all
Anymore unless you’re a hardcore pedal Enthusiast I get it but I feel like this bike is for both people unless weight is a concern than I understand because electric bikes are a lot heavier let’s try out this horn real quick it sounds pretty cool when you barely tap
It sounds like it go to a background of a techno song but this horn is good especially with my full face helmet on covering my ears this is decently loud now it’s not as loud as like a super 73 horn that you get on those bikes you get
A legit horn or the k6 that came with a real horn but this is pretty good this is definitely better than most of the headlight horns that we normally get so I will take it but here’s one thing you guys probably also want to know is that
What happens if you’re just riding like right now you’re seeing your voltage or your battery percent you’re like uh-oh my bike just cut off I need to still get home can I get home with just pedaling and well let’s see if you can you’re definitely not going to do it in gear
Number eight so we got to drop it down and let’s go all right so I’m on Two And I feel like that’s a little too low I bump it up to three three feels really good especially if you want to hold this speed I don’t know exactly how fast
We’re going but this is definitely doing wonders right here go so I can keep my momentum if I put it in four that’s a little a little too high and I feel like I’m slowing down but look I’m able to this bike perfectly fine no issues if you didn’t have power definitely going
To take a workout though if you’re not used to pedaling a bike and you’re not in shape this is definitely not going to be pleasant for you you’re definitely probably going to be hating life especially if you got miles and miles to go why is there all this dirt in my bike
Lane what the hell is going on but yeah I can already tell that I would get tired if I had to go more than I would say a mile or two but hey if you have to do it for emergency reasons you definitely can all right guys we are at
The final conclusion of this bike and within 5 minutes or hopefully in 5 minutes I’m going to give you a complete run down pros and cons of this bike and if I think it’s worth it and I think right now it’s worth it because my coupon code that they give me is

Cons we’ll start in the front grips they feel okay not the best they do lock and play so that’s nice but mine had a little tiny bit of movement still even though they locked in place the horn is great very very loud the button layout I
Love it the plus and minus getting into the advanced settings and just turning on the bike in general love that very easy the removable battery with the key very easy it does get in the way of the fender a little bit which the fenders are free by the way if you guys order
The bike right now especially you guys got to use the link down the description you’ll get that the display is great color I love the fact that you can see voltage battery percentage and you also have the battery bar too so you have three levels of check for your battery I
Love that and if you guys know voltage that’s the best way to go off of I would just go off that all the time the brakes feel fantastic I will say these levers feel a little short so if your hands are on the outside of the handlebars it
Feels like you’re kind of stretching in so I kind of keep my hands close to the center of the handle bars and real quick I’ll be back okay we’re were we some people came home so I had to pause production uh so moving on to the front
Of course you get the free fenders uh the tires not a huge fan of the tires only because I feel like they’ll get a goat head like real quick especially in your area depending on where you ride at and stuff you have a lot of those in
Your area I would highly suggest getting liner for them or putting slime in them immediately because it would suck for you to ride this bike and get a flat the first time you have it so just be careful on where you ride cuz these tires are very thin one of the best Pros
About this bike though is going to be this rear suspension you have all this adjustments where you can lock it out or semick it out you got the rebound and then you also have the air compressor that you can take air out of the shock
Or you can add air to it depending on how you want to ride and me personally after riding this thing for a little bit since I’m on the lighter side I would say maybe 170 lb if you think that’s light anyway I would have probably let a
Little tiny bit of air out from getting this bike in just because I felt like it was a little tiny bit too stiff but it wasn’t crazy stiff so I feel like if I would have let a little bit out it would have been perfect but you can dial that
In as you keep riding the bike and get it just set up for you I love that the bufang motor very good motor you’re not going to have any issues with this they are some of the best Motors in the game unfortunately though this bike doesn’t
Have as much torque as you would think it’s a 25 amp controller but I feel like the way they have the curve set up for the power to come in it’s very gradual uh from 0 to 8 m an hour and it really kind of picks up after 10 m an hour so
That’s a little unfortunate for people that are going up hills if you do get a running start at it or you pedal you’ll be perfectly fine but if you’re just using the throttle only and not pedaling it’s probably not going to make it up that hill and uh I guess other than that
