This was taken 9/21/23. I was waiting in a traffic jam before a section of road work for 45 minutes. Got out and walked towards the front to see if they had an estimate for letting us through when I saw this. I spoke with the man driving (not the owner) and he said he was taking it from Crested Butte to Telluride. When I asked him about driving it on the uneven gravel road he just said it has surprisingly good ground clearance.

In my opinion, the greatest car of all time.

Reminds me of the Colorado Grand. Done it 15 times or more during basically that same time of year (actually week before when your picture was taken) and we often run into construction zones. Pretty wild seeing 300SL’s or 1950s Ferraris driving through the muck but that’s the joy of it.

Glad to see one being driven seeing how very rare and expensive even the “production” versions are.
The LM are still the coolest looking sport/HyperCars ever.
