> The German government on Wednesday launched a project
> “Our goal is to let trucks only run on green electricity,” Economy Minister Robert Habeck said in a statement on Wednesday.
I give it exactly 5 weeks before Christian Lindner cuts funding citing technology openness and budget management.
> “A powerful charging infrastructure forms the backbone of tomorrow’s climate-friendly mobility and logistics. With the truck fast-charging network, we are launching a real mammoth project,” Transport Minister Volker Wissing said.
Fake news! Our beloved E-fuel-Wissing would never say such a thing! 😠

In all seriousness, let’s see how this goes. There’s a lot of things standing in the way of government funding coming through, but if it ends up happening, it’s obviously a good thing.
Edit: Makes me wonder why Tesla could not retain funding for its open truck charging corridor from CA to Texas. Yes, it would benefit Tesla, but would be a great start for the US truck charging grid.
