Lowered car slicing tyres

I’m looking for advice. Just brought a maxda axela 2 weeks ago. The car has been lowered and has fat tyres on the car. The tyres are getting sliced up pretty bad. The Tyre guy said the wheels are too big for the car. They are 235wide and should be 215wide. He said best solution is fitting correct rims to car.

My question for you:
Will raising the car prevent this and allow me to keep the current rims on my car? Anyone know?

Rolling the guards is not an option, neither is camber or a wide body kit.

Find the piece that is cutting into the tire and roll it. Saying rolling isn’t an option is a wild take bruh.

If you have coilovers on the car yhea just raise it up, but surely rolling the arches out a bit will be less money than buying new suspension to raise it up? Why do you say no to rolling?

That straight up looks like you’ve driven into something sharp because there’s still a pretty huge gap and it’s only going to touch when e.g. hitting bumps.

How exactly is rolling not an option? legit just find whatever is apparently hitting and flatten it out.

  4. Would raising the car solve my problems?

I was all for rolling the guards but my panel beater (best in town) has told me my model in particular is not easy to roll. He’s done a few axelas before and doesn’t recommend it. Tbh I’m no good with car stuff I usually leave it up to my bf so there’s no chance I would do it myself.

I want to take the panel beaters advice as he is obvious more experienced than myself. So my question is, would raising the car solve my issue?
