Need help identifying rims. What are they? Buddy bought RX-7 with them, found it could be some old HREs. Anyone have more info about them?

   They might be HREs or they might be a million other things, these are sometimes called “style 5’s” and are basically a BBS design. You can buy a brand new set of Chinese knock offs for less than $800

   If real HRE’S then you can look on the back of the wheel or inside the barrel for identifying etching.

   Usually a series of numbers.

   Then call hre and provide them the number. They may still have it in their system and can give you a details.

   But if too old then you will be shit out of luck and will have to measure everything on your own.
