how to fill gap

i stupidly copied someone elses tire specs without taking into account how low they were and my fitment looks horrible i have a big gap, my tires at 195/45 wheel specs 16×8+45 im new to this and want to get a bigger sidewall but still be stretched, what tire size should i get to fill the gap, i want a similar look as the red car pic

  1. Are you maxed out on your coilovers? Going lower isn’t an option?

16s on that car are going to look tiny no matter what

I feel like trying to compare the wheel well from a NA Miata to a newer Corolla was a bad idea. Even if this thing is dumped that wheel isn’t going to fill that space

  4. This is so funny 😭 is this what happens when tik tok kids get into car money?

Bigger tires and a lip kit is just going to look goofy IMO. Just gonna look stock height with slightly more fancy wheels. Newer rolla like that if you want to sit more flush you’re gonna probably need 18’s with low profile tires. There’s really nothing you can do with 16’s on that body to mimic what you’re trying to accomplish

16’s? Yikes. I don’t think there’s much you could do that will make it looks great. Those wheels are far too small for your car imo

  7. Sorry man but you either need to go way lower or get different wheels. This is way too big of a gap to fill up with more sidewall.

  8. Small wheels can look great on these, here’s a pretty extreme kaido racer styled one with bolt ons so not really a 1:1 comparison, but it gets the point across:

To close up the gap, get big phat sidewall tires for it. Not balloon tyres though, something racey with a nice squarish sidewall like a proxe r888, nitto nt555r2, MT et street SS…

The extra bonus is it will increase rolling diameter which will also raise your car slightly, meaning that you can lower it a little more and still be at the exact same ground clearance but you close up that arch gap even more.

I’m not sure what tire size but you def need a way taller sidewall to close the gap like 195/60 or something… also the guy’s IG that you posted has fender flares on his car that help close the gap.

Looks like over fenders is the move. But you need a lot more width and negative offset to make it work.

  11. Need some spacers for more poke and thicker narrow tires for more stretch like the one in miata

Custom over fenders – like old jdm race cars and bosozuku do it too ,

Larger tyres with whitewall lettering would look good imho
