They had the small issue of the frame not being rust protected at all, which made them rot like crazy, and since the headlights used a part of the frame as their reservoir a rusted frame meant you’d lose your headlights.
Restorations are difficult since it’s very hard (and time-consuming) to remove the panels intact.
