Excuse the grammar, I’m on break rn and I don’t have a lot of time lol.
This is my mk6 I recently put on some coilovers and I was wondering if anyone has any advice to kind of clean up the look / make it look more showy if ya get what I mean. Right now I have a 17inch wheel by about 7.5 I believe off an older generation golf GTI. The tires are 225/45s. I’ve maxed out the coil in the back without taking anything out but I can’t adjust the shock to sit any higher, the fronts are about 1 inch from maxing out. I’d love to get a new set of wheels here soon so I thought I’d just ask for some help.

I like the wheels but if you want it to be more showy then maybe some deep dish or like chrome wheels will help. You could add a lip or bodykit. Maybe look at tail lights or a front grill.
Get some better wheels imo, if you like them than keep them, but I’d recommend going with some chrome deep dish wheels
Get some 18 detroits(black and silver ones). I had some on my MK6 GTI lowered with coils and it was a great OEM/OEM+ look.
Great looking daily I would rock it.
New wheels &/or roof rack. I like the fitment but you’ll have to dial the fitment in again for sizing if you get new wheels
these wheels can go hard if you down the aspect ratio on the tires, then you could go lower to fill the gap, then throw on some skirts. you’d be sitting clean
I actually like the stocks, just the tires look a bit dull. I think the front end could do well with some enhancements, maybe a simple lip would do it.
