I personally don’t think so, but I don’t really have much of a say, as I’m not as much of a car nut as some other people here. I’d say no because of the amount of sponsors on it and the black wheel screw bolt lug nuts thingies

Nice spot, though!

Rule of thumb: it’s always a replica
But, it is still very cool nonetheless

It’s more likely to spot an original Cobra than a GT40. Like 10x more likely. Just over 100 GT40s were built, and most of them were race cars. So same rules apply, unless it’s in a museum or high-end car show/auction, it’s a replica.

It’s rolling around at some random car show. Of course it’s replica.

I think this is a Superformance 50th anniversary replica. It is VERY accurate. The real #6 Gulf livery car is chassis #1075 it won LeMans in ‘68 and ‘69 as well as 12 hours of Daytona. It is now owned by Rob Walton.
I noticed a number of differences from the superformance GT40’s, best I can tell it’s an RCR replica. The stickers and the door handles match this one.
