Wheel Fitment Advice Needed! – Mazda2 DJ – Konig Ampliform 17×8 45ET

If someone could please offer any advice or workarounds that aren’t dangerous or going to damage my car, I would be forever grateful.
I have a 2024 Mazda2 DJ hatch in Aero Grey and I just had fitted Konig Ampliform wheels 17×8 45ET 4×100 with 215/45/R17 tyres. They honestly transform the car and it looks incredible!
The tyre dealer was told by the supplier that they are compatible; however, during carpark speeds with my wheels turned full lock either left or right and on one occasion corning swiftly in a backstreet whereby a very minor-almost flat dip was present, the rear of only my rim ever so slightly grazes the rearest side of my lower control arms on the bottom edge. The stock wheels are 16×5.5 40ET 4×100 and the tyres are 185/60/R16. I’ve since learnt that the Mazda2 DJ offset range is 38-“42” which I’m assuming has something to do with it. The car is at standard ride height and has not been lowered and has no other modifications; it is completely stock.
The wheels are not scraping anywhere else and the tyres do not scrape at all. I would love to keep these wheels on the car, but if we cannot find a solution they will likely have to come off. The tyre dealer has offered to put a 3mm spacer in but given that the wheels are 8” wide I worry that they’ll scrape the inner guard/wheel arch and given that there has been no body damage thus far, I’d like to keep it that way.

If someone has fitted the same or similar wheels to their Mazda2 DJ hatch or they have any knowledge or workarounds they could put forward, I would be extremely grateful.

Thank you in advance!
