New sound after mounting wheels

Just put some new wheels on my car. After driving it a bit, I’m getting a thumping sound from the front right wheel only when slowly applying the brakes on every rotation. If I hit the brakes hard or just cruising, no sound. It’s only the front right wheel and it wasn’t making this sound before so I wouldn’t think it would be pads or rotors. I double checked all lugs are tight. Anyone have any ideas?

Get them rotated, weighted, and get an alignment while you’re at it.

Could also be faint distant $B playing. Sorry if that meme is old by now.

What’s the clearance between the spoke and the calliper?

If you haven’t already, take the wheel off and check the back of the spokes, could be a tiny meet between the calliper and the spoke. You will be able to see a definite indentation on the wheel if so.
