  2. I was thinking “Quebec”, surprised to see it’s in Newfoundland! NL is not known for their EV penetration & DC charging networks, but obviously if they can plug ‘at home’ it changes the game.

    It makes a lot of sense for cities. They have more than enough range for running around all day at low/medium speeds, and the operating costs are way less. The local Ford also seems to have cut prices on their Lightnings, I’m seeing them at $62k CAD for the XLT ($75k MSRP) which feels like a pretty darn good deal when you can easily spend that much on an ICE truck…

    edit: how is the mayor wearing her seat belt?!
