I really want the Zaz here in the states. I think it’s super interesting given the V4 (No, Really, a V4) engine.

If I ever have the room and money for a ‘fun’ car in addition to my daily, this is the class of car I’m picking from. I think the Prinz has to be near the top of my list (particularly in TT form). I wish that NSU had put a rotary in either the Prinz or the later (larger) Type 100, because then that would have been the ideal option.

I’m also partial to the Hillman Imp’s cousin, the Sunbeam Stiletto, which was a coupe (which I think looks nicer than the Imp pictured in OP). Also not shown is the Simca 1200S, which is a coupe descendant of the 1000, and a great looking car.

Suzuki Fronte 360, always loved these, kinda like a Japanese fiat 500. There was enormous fanfare when this car was launched, it was enormously successful. Pretty much cemented Suzuki’s reputation as a builder of small, very reliable cars. Sir Sterling Moss even drove one across Italy.

A few concepts have been released paying tribute to this car over the years. In other words, probably destined for a mini-style retro comeback any time soon.

These are almost all coupes (2 doors). Give me a 911.

Zaz (totally not because I’m Russian, why do you ask?)
But in all seriousness I think it looks pretty nice. Shame most Soviets were underpowered.

My dad had a hillman imp back in the day, neat little thing that was. However if I was given the choice I’d have the BMW.

I’ve had a hillman imp so I’d choose the simca

If it has a rear engine configuration and the front emblem isn’t Porsche, I’m out.

Don’t forget the Skoda 1000 MB, the Volkswagen type 3 and 4, or the Renault Dauphine, 8 and 10. Honestly now that I think of it europe was a happening place for rear engine sedans in the 50s and 60s, wasn’t just sports cars or compact fiats.

Hearing the engine note from a few modified Imps before has turned them into a realistic dream car for me
