So the question is pretty self explanatory: is there a modern car/truck that looked great until it got a face-lift which ruined the look of the car/truck?
I chose the Ford F250 as an example because the 2018-2020 models looked pretty nice until the new 2022+ models came along and it ruined the look of the truck.

Every car after the Model T Gramps lets get you back to the nursing home 👴
The 2019 non-ZL1 Camaro facelift. I honestly don’t know why GM decided to screw up the redesign of the mean and aggressive 6th-gen Camaro with that gaping grille. Fortunately they managed to make it look much better with the 2020 refresh.
Hot take but the Honda Accord. Looked really nice 2018-2022, new one looks awkward, weirdly proportioned and outdated.
Does it have to be modern? If not, the 90s Testarossa update
New f250 looks fantastic. The 2019+ Silverado though looks downright goofy
Pre-2013 Lexus cars. Afterwards they all grew mouths and look like they are gonna vomit tbh and I love the Lexus brand a lot
The new Kia Picanto is really weird

Actually, the Ford Taurus fits this spectacularly.
The first 2 generations were modestly styled and were even giving Toyota and Honda a run on their offerings.
But then BAM! The 3rd gen came out, and the alien suppository look was very polarizing.
For a wild ride look at the history of the Ford Escape. Started out as a decent SUV, shrunk and shrunk down to the size of a Fiesta and now looks like a Mazda CX-5. But it’s Ford. Can do the same with fables Mustang. What a roller-coaster that thing has been.
Gotta disagree on the F250. The previous years looked no different than an F150. The new F250’s look bigger and more aggressive than the 150–as they should. I know that they are more “boxy”, but that is the trend with heavy/super duties.
W222 S Class
2024 F150. They have progressively been looking better up to 2023 then bam 2024. The front end looks like Robocop’s helmet
Almost all BMWs in the early to mid 2010s looked great until they decided on the huge nostrils.
W212 E-Class.
The quad-light look was an iconic design for Mercedes.
The 5 series. The E39 was a good looking car. The E60 was not.
The E65 7 series looked bad before it got a facelift if that counts too.
Not modern but the full size Cadillacs after 1970 did not look great either.
