Are the tires original too? Driving on 60 year old tires seems like a deathwish.

That’s a crazy spot. With the paint already not being original I think fixing the body and giving it a proper fresh coat would be a good call.
E. My main concern with having this car painted would be who it was handed off to. It would be very expensive to have done because if they fucked up a single part in removal or prep it could cause a meaningful loss in value. I’m not even in the same country as this car and the thought of having it partially disassembled for paint gives me anxiety.
E2. I’ve read more about this car and I don’t think it should be repainted. It should be left as it is.

Yeah it’s been sitting in a garage deteriorating for the past 25 years, but that still looks insane

There’s a guy around KC that has a real 1965 AC Cobra. Not this rare but not a car you see in the wild &I’ve seen it at 3 different C&C:s this summer.

It may be real, but a paint color doesn’t make it 1 of 2.

So Hertz Gold over the original Guardsman Blue

How does the paint look so shit, if it was already repainted 😅

Where is the other one at?

If that’s 1 of 2, that’s worth, what … 1-2 million?

Sweet Maserati next to it too. Love those.

Read about Shelby Cobras and their kits [here](https://greatlakescobraclub.com/replica-vs-real-cobras/). What you saw is 99% likely to be a kit.

Honestly, who gives a shit if it’s real, the fake cars are 10000x better than 99% of the real cars. The only reason to buy a real one is investment
More bad ass as a survivor car than a resto!
