its 2001, you are in your junior year of high school, as a reward for FINALLY getting your drivers license on the 3rd try, your dad agreed to get you a brand new car, which of these are you getting?

Knowing next to nothing about these, I feel like I see the Taurus on the roads the most often these days so I’ll pick it solely based on that.

I drove a 1997 Malibu into the ground, my brother drove it for a little over a year after that, slowly ate coolant and oil and could barely idle. After saying that, I’d probably pick the Taurus. I wouldn’t touch that Chrysler with a 10 foot pole.

The Chevy.

The Taurus because the engine is bulletproof.

Ford all the way. Grandparents used to have an older Taurus and they never really had any issues with it that I can remember

I had a 2000 Malibu that I got in 02, and that thing was a tank. I got hit 10 times in that car (6 of which were being rear ended when I was at red lights and stop signs), and it got me home under its own power every time.

I’d go to the Chevy place and tell him that the Prizm was good enough for me.

In 2001 half of the students who got band new cars from daddy had a VW new beetle!

We had a gold intrepid like that one. It felt pretty damn fast to new driving me.

Whichever of them has the best trade in value, then drive it to the Toyota dealer and get a Camry. I’ve got a 260k 2001 in my driveway right now which survived three HS teenage drivers. Good luck getting that out of any of these.

If i can have the 3.5, i’d take the intrepid, hands down. The 2.7 is a nope. That said, if no 3.5 treppy, i’ll have a 6 passenger taurus, or 8 passenger taurus wagon. Prefer duratech, but vulcan is fine.

Of these three I only see the Taurus and it’s once in a while

Every time I see one of those dodges on the road they’re always run down and beat up so ill probably pick the Taurus or the malibu
Annhl8rX
Me now wouldn’t give a damn…they’re all terrible. Me in 2003 would have just picked whichever one had the quickest 0-60.

Thought all Taurus were unreliable. But I’ll take it.
