BMW or Mercedes. Ive had a few e30s and loved em, always liked the 190e as well and after driving one almost bought it on the spot.

I’m torn between the 325i and the Integra.
Legitimate_Life_1926

Saab. No question.

MB 190E 5MT! multilink IRS rear suspension, incredible build quality, FR layout. It beats the E30’s rear trailing arms in roadholding.

325i no questions, but did Sterling really try and sell their rebadged Honda Prelude for $29,000 in 1989?
Personally for $30,000 in 1989 I would get an LX 5.0 Fox Body Mustang and a Jeep Cherokee.

Sterling if it was built in 1989, lots of the issues were getting resolved at that point. If its an ’88 the Saab because they look cool as fuck. The Peugeot comes in at a close third place.

You gave us a Legend knockoff, where’s the Legend?

Bimmer or Mercedes. Whoever picks the Sterling or Cimarron needs to be institutionalized.

I’m picking an Olds 98 Brougham (way better than the Cimmaron)

Integra, so I would have 10k+ left over

I love me some E30’s, but I’d take a W201 over it every day of the week.

We’re these cars really $30K in 1989? I sincerely doubt it.

In the words of Al Bundy in an early Married With Children episode: “Well, the BMW is a driver’s car but If you should happen to drive into a wall, the ‘Benz has air bags, so uh, I’d go with the BMW.”

The BMW or the Benz. I still see a fair number of these on the roads. Including the Cimmaron, that was simply a joke, right? No rational person would want that badge-engineered POS.
