1st gen (2010) Nissan Leaf. Right car at the wrong time.

Both Crowns are a disappointment. Hope they can do better with the next one.

Most of the new evs, the companies are delusional.

I thought the Dodge Dart was DOA for a while, but I see quite a few people with them now.
Otherwise, a couple of the micro ev start ups in the 2010’s had hype and then ended suddenly.

I figured the Volkswagen Arteon was DOA, and I was correct. Albeit larger, it was priced uncomfortably close to an Audi A5 and it didn’t have the personality or bred-in driving purity of a Kia Stinger.
That’s not to say that I wouldn’t have bought one; I nearly did.

Lexus HS250h and maybe the Kia K900 unfortunately simply because Genesis was becoming a thing which sorta ate into potential K900 sales and most luxury buyers wouldn’t consider Kia in the first place hurt its chances of doing even slightly well
Drzhivago138
Great example. I would say the Acura ZDX. The mid-size luxury coupe SUV market was only just getting started at the time (BMW X6), and Acura didn’t have enough panache to pull it off.

The Mercedes EQS. They should have known nobody wants to spend over $100k on a big, tacky jellybean with an interior that looks like a casino. Their resale value is absolute dog shit, too.
CasanovaMoby
Kia K900. I bought a used Honda Fit from a kia dealership and saw a new K900 in the showroom. I looked at it, then saw the sticker price!!! If no one bought a VW based on a Bentley, then absolutely no one would pay that much for a Kia.

This will be the new premium rental now alongside the high up fleet trim of current gen Accord now that the 300, Charger and Maxima are gone

1st gen of Peugeot 3008. That thing has such an ungrateful physique… I still sold super well.
RudeAd9698
The Mazda EV with 100 mile range and a $40k+ sticker price.

If Toyota would have given the Crown a lift-back instead of a standard trunk it might’ve had a chance.

I want the Crown if I can’t get a 4-Runner. All wheel drive, increased ground clearance, big ol full-size sedan Hybrid, fully loaded? A perfectly practical car for the Canadian winter, a solid replacement for a 22-year-old LS 430, and you don’t have to deal with an SUV’s added bulk.
