I think outside of crunchy nostalgic boomers, this is not going to be a popular vehicle.
Way too expensive with way too poor range for it to be an actual family vehicle for most
Desistance
VW is determined to fail.

Over MSRP is a thing of the past. Dealers that do this deserve their fate.
XLauncher
Abolish dealerships.

That the article spends half it’s length pushing the pro phev attitude of the head of VW of America before doomsaying the rollout of the ID.Buzz is hilariously transparent what’s going on

Markups, price gouging and other dirty sales tactics are just normal business practice when it comes to a car dealer. It’s supply and demand, if there are people who are willing to pay then then it’s meaningless to complain. Smart people either wait for prices to drop or don’t buy altogether.

We have known this for ages.

Yeah I don’t care The car looks ugly as hell. Probably very inefficient as well. And knowing Volkswagen the software is probably absolute shit.
Curious-Welder-6304
I mean, the specs kinda suck.

Lol.
Speculawyer
Lol. Sadly the demand will not be as big as they think it will.
Initially, yrs, but it will fall off quickly at that price point.
RenataKaizen
Is there an over/under for recalls in the first year?
CallMeBlaBla

SVTContour
