Hey guys! After my last post I decided I’m gonna go ahead and get coilovers now while I save for wheels. Did a lot of research last night. I’ve found these megan racing coilovers, while i’ve heard they’re not the best quality i found a great deal. All other websites have these at $800-$900, but I found this website here that has them on sale for $400. This is the lowest price for any set of coilovers I’ve seen for my car, even brands of much worse quality.
I almost pulled the trigger last night— until I started thinking about the deal being too good to be true. The website “frsport” has an instagram attached to them, where the posts have a few comments from customers that didn’t receive their package. So I’m not sure if I can trust this deal. By crazy chance – does anyone here have experience with this company, “fr sport”?
Overall – is this a bad idea? The lower quality coilovers – coupled with the fact the website could be sketchy? Should I pass? Or go for the deal? Could always chargeback cc if I don’t receive the item…

If other sites have them at 800-900 then they can’t be THAT bad. If ride quality sucks just swap the springs out for swift springs.
I think I ordered some parts from them when I was building my ef civic. Just pay thru PayPal so you can dispute if they don’t ship or show up for whatever reason.
As for Megan racing, I’ve ridden in a few cars with them, and I didn’t mind the ride at all, though I can’t speak for longevity of them. I have godspeed coils in my car, and I personally would put them in the same tier as Megan. Mine are 3 years old and still ride pretty decently. For $500, I’d pull the trigger and get them.
Sounds like a good deal.
I recently bought a set of wheels that also felt too good to be true but I guess they just wanted to unload stock..
As for longevity of coilover set, at that price, if you got a good couple of years out of them I’d say it’s worth it.
If you like the height, you can always get some bcs later on
I’ve rocked a few sets of Megan’s on big body Lexuses and they’ve all been good
