My grandfather bought this Chevrolet Caprice in 1980 in Sweden and sold it around 1988. He died in 2010.
My dad recently managed to track the car down and bought it back, and parked it in the same spot at my grandfather’s house where my dad lives now.

Fine cars. Quite rare in Sweden I’d bet.
Was it still in that condition? Or did he restore it?
I had an 81 with the exact color body and vinyl roof but different wheel covers. My college beater with a working air conditioner.
Glad it survived all these years – the boxy late seventies and eighties Caprices and Impalas have always been some of my favorites!
Love to find one. Had an 84. They rotted in Boston from all the salt the used on the roads
