The 037 road car still looks great without the massive wedge spoiler.

But theyd only built 103 by the time the fia came to inspect -so the showed the inspectors 100 in one carpark, then took them for a long lunch and then took them to see “the other 100” in a location across town.

Not sure if it is this one or a different Lancia homologation but it is even rarer than 1/200 as there is a story that Lanica showed the FIA inspectors 100 cars, took them out for lunch while the mechanics drove the 100 cars to another carpark before going to said carpark to look at the same 100 as earlier thus passing the inspection of 200 cars. Pretty cool story

Looks like they purchased it during Carweek 2023 for $654,000 at the RM Sothebys auction. Crazy spot!

100%, hands down, unequivocally my dream car. Lucky bastard.
Why didn’t they actually build a bunch of these? Sure they would have sold like hot cakes.

Genuinely might be the most strikingly beautiful thing I’ve ever seen
