Not much love on this site for GM EVs but I love this Equinox. 1000km I spent 32$ charging it. Not bad!
It’s a very smooth ride and this AWD model has some power to it. Interior is nice and the infotainment system I love. I personally never had CarPlay but I have tried it in the wife’s HRV but I’d take the google version any day it’s very smooth and no issues yet.
Only gripes are the dashboard being so reflective in the windscreen and washing it some water got into the charging port so I will have to be careful next wash.
I’m probably not a good judge of EVs as I came from a 13 year old base model Toyota that I bought brand new lol but if I have no issues I’d say this Chevy is worth the cost.
Cheers

Congratulations, it looks like a lovely car
Its one of the best EVs for the price and range. The battery is larger than they specify as well.
Nice try Chevrolet
Damn, I just paid off my bolt and I am trying to restrain myself from leasing a equinox, you’re not helping 😄
Congrats! Enjoy. Love seeing more people swap out their stinky underpowered ICE.
Wish i could afford one.
*edit: not that i care about the downvote… okay i care enough to make an edit, but wtf? Why the fuck does this get downvoted? I like the car, i just cant afford one.
Before we bought our Hyundai Ioniq 5 we looked at and test drove a 2020 Chevy Bolt Premiere with 22K miles on it. We were impressed. Had good rear seat legroom, looked nice, drove well and did have DC fast charging ability but it was relatively slow charging – about an hour for a 20% to 80% charge. Compare to the Ioniq 5 can do the same in 18 minutes. For mostly that reason we went for the Ioniq.
The Bolt is impressive. Chevy knows what it is doing.
Congrats!
Imo, this one of the best looking EVs out there. High-end models included. I just love the look. Congrats.
How are charging times though?
You love it for now.
I saw one of these in person the other day charging at a supercharger — just before they got the software stuff worked out so the couple that was attempting to charge it failed but I hear they have this fixed now.
It was very nice IMHO. Build quality looked very good and the materials in the interior were great.
Prepare yourself for the inevitable total breakdown
Congrats! Does it drive as good as it looks?
I’d like to see one in person. They look like nice vehicles. How’s the space in the back and second row?
Nice. I just picked one up too, RS in white. Not a high bar, but best car I’ve ever had.
This looks great, love the color. Would love that in the Ioniq 5 I own.
I’m a big fan of the looks of that car, I’m actually on the same boat as you, I currently drive a ’09 Civic Hybrid and looking at this as a replacement.
I met a red one yesterday driving. It’s super sharp and made my head snap around to double take.
I also talked to a guy that owned while he was out door knocking for votes last week. He had come from a Rivian, but really liked the Equinox, calling it a “nice, boring EV.”
Do you have a video of the inside?
1000km? Wow?
Red and black looks nice!
No apple car play or android auto right?
I think gm is doing things right for the most part. The ultium platform has some shortcomings but they’re a far cry from the shortcomings of something like Toyotas offering.
The main reason I didn’t really consider them is they weren’t eligible for the tax credit.
Hopefully they ironed out all the software issues. I’ve looked at this car too and it seems a good buy!
This is probably the first one I’ve seen that isn’t in an Ad.
Where are the headlights?
$32 to charge??!?
Where is charging that expensive?
I’m in CT and electricity is pretty expensive here, and I’ve never spent that much at a supercharger.
I really really wish they’d do carplay in these. I’d put in an order for a Blazer tomorrow if they did. 🙁
Does it have CarPlay?
You have great looking home. Good job buddy.
