What do you think of 70s land yachts? These are my two: both with the Ford 7.5L V8, both over 230″ long and weighing around 5500lbs. Others might think they’re ridiculous, but I love them!

I don’t understand how anyone could prefer a modern “luxury” tablet interior over what cars like this had to offer. Portable living rooms. Love it.

Friend of mine had a ‘79 Mark V with the 400cid V8. Put it on a truck scale once, and it registered 6400 lbs.

Lots of fun. I’m working on a 1975 Imperial. It’s cheap opulence (until you get to the pump…and until all the dumpy wood veneers start peeling off)

I love the Mark

“slab side” architecture.

I also love them. It’s great when you find a super low mileage one that’s mint. I’m on the other end of the spectrum I regularly drive a mint 1964 MGB and love it and it’s crazy small

They are ridiculous. That’s why I love them.

I have a 2005 Volkswagen Passat station wagon 4 motion 1.8t that weighs 4800 lb as soon as I sit in the driver’s seat it’s a 5000 lb car that gets 32 MPG at 71 mph on a flat highway at 110 mph it gets 10 MI per gallon it’s probably one of the best cars in my opinion ever made for looking at the numbers I’ve logged close to 300,000 MI on the same engine when it’s tuned up right and everything’s running correctly it still gets just as good as MPG is new it’s impressive when you look at the numbers over the course of 15 years of ownership I love old and big cars keep them nice and keep them as long as you can one day someone will appreciate them just as much as you did hopefully

Love them to death

When I was 15, my dad and I convinced my mother to let my dad buy a new 1958 Mercury Montego. She hated it but my dad and I thought it was so cool. Until I got my drivers license a year later. It felt like I was driving a battleship. It was so ridiculously large.

I always wanted a 76 Cadillac eldorado
I’d also really like a 59 Edsel convertible
