The Audi RS 2 at the end threw me at first. Most 15 year olds do not appreciate a good sleeper. I was wondering if he included it only because he got some nookie in one and the fond memories are not entirely about the car itself.

The weird thing is he’s got conventionally good taste, up until the 996, which I personally like but it is conventionally disliked. There was a lot to rub people the wrong way there, it being the first water cooled 911 and being the first, and last I think, standard edition 911 to ditch the round headlights. I always liked it, the 996 Turbo was a hero car for me when I was very young. One of the first cars I can remember being wowed by.
