The G.T. 40 Mk IV only raced in 2 events, the 1967 12 Hours of Sebring, and the 1967 24 Hours of Le Mans; placing 1st in both events.
Mario Andretti had a horrific crash during the 1967 24 Hours of Le Mans, but survived with minor injuries due to the installation of a roll cage after Ken Miles death.
