Oval Taurus in that gross bronzeish tan color that was really common on Grand Marqs. I thought it was a cool looking car. I was a weird kid.

as far back as I can remember, starting in about 1990, it was, in order:
-Blue ’82 Plymouth Champ hatchback -White ’87 Mitsubishi Colt hatchback -Orange ’82 Chevrolet Chevette -Maroon (on maroon on maroon) ’85 Buick Skylark -Green ’97 Saturn SL1 (got my learners on this one, then promptly totaled it)
then I started buying my own cars, so I bought a ’77 Gremlin.

‘94 accord. AC drain over flowed on the carpets but I always loved it. Dad’s car. He ended up driving the minivan after getting tired of the AC problem. Not as cool as his ‘84 prelude but not bad for a 90s dad car.

My mom has had 3 vehicles my entire life (33 years) when I was born I was brought home from the hospital in a 1984 Ford Bronco II. Then she got rid of that and got a 1990 ford conversion van that she had for 2 or 3 years. And now for the past 22 years she’s had the same 1998 ford explorer. She doesn’t drive anymore because she can hardly walk, but my dad chauffeurs her around in that, and the 1992 Miata he bought the same year he bought her the explorer.

Acura Integra ls. Me and 2 siblings would be crammed in the back seat on road trips across the country, but its reliable and good on gas for being a “premium” badged car. I’m driving that car now.

[Chevy Monza.](https://www.virtualparking.net/post/1797/1980-chevrolet-monza) As a kid it felt like an economy car trying to look cool. Ours had the Iron Duke 4 cylinder with a 4 speed manual. Looking back, I think parts of it were pretty. I like the shape of the hood, and headlights on the single light ones. The louvers were cool, though completely decorative. We replaced it with a Chevy Astro van.

my mom drove me to kindergarten in a late 90s, maybe early 2000s Monte Carlo, not sure of the exact year model
