I love the way these look. My neighbor when I was a kid had a white one and I thought it was the coolest thing in the world

These are still about 10 grand in good condition

  3. themanprichard

Oldsmobile should’ve made a Hurst version of this.

Says the high school senior: “I was totally wanting to get a VW Cabriolet, but my Boomer dad says I have to Buy American, so then I started looking at the LeBaron Convertible, because they look super cool after the re-design, plus I can tell everyone it has Rich Cooorrreeenthian Leather and make my friends laugh, but then mom says I can’t get a convertible because she heard from this one lady at church that one time some kids got in a really bad accident and died because convertibles are unsafe, so dad compromised with her and she said it would be ok if I got this Cutlass because it has the roll bar for safety.”

    “Unique” styling for the time.

Because they look amazing. I love Oldsmobile’s final 15-20 years of design.

  7. I remember more than 20 years ago the town I lived in there was a woman that had one of these in the same color combination. The car was stolen from the CVS parking lot and it turns out her toddler was in a car seat in the back as the new story goes The robber realized there was a kid in the backseat and left the car at another business parking lot a couple miles away.

I really love these back when they were new.. Still do. Between these and the GPX… They were probably the best looking FWD cars GM was producing.

I had a 94 coupe, green with tan leather. I think it’s the car that started my love for cars over SUVs and trucks. Damn it was great.

I’ll only consider it if the dog is included.

Such a good looking dog. I have an ACD and he’s the best damn dog I’ve ever had.

Also I’m buying that car in 1994 because I’m divorced and I just had a vasectomy.

  12. Because the insurance on a Mustang Gt is too high

Because your grandfather, and father, both work at the Lansing Fisher Body plant.

  14. My dad had one of these new in 1994. green on tan. it was a great car, sat 4 comfortably, quick enough BUT man, that chassis was FLEXIBLE. this car defined cowl shake.

  15. SouthernExpatriate

    I love that particular car

But having owned GM products – never again

Woah flashbacks, about 15 years ago I bought one red like this, re-painted it black. Loved it, weird and fun open top car

Bruh you could get a turbo and a stick in a Dodge Spirit

Seem to see a lot of these around. To each their own but I was never and am not a fan so I don’t really get it. Neighbour across the road has one, white with red interior. Seems to take decent care of it but then will.leave roof down all night at times. Has sat through the rain a handful of times this summer. Doesn’t make much sense to me.
