I don’t mind washing the car but I absolutely hate washing the intricacies of the wheels, makes me want steelies

Living somewhere where I can *sometimes* get away with not washing for two or maybe even three weeks but during half a year, it’s something like every three days – yeah, I could do without it. Absolutely no point in doing anything as thoroughly as on in your picture.

Por que no los dos?
Before I broke my back it was a good mindless ritual for deep thought. Now it’s basically torture, by the fourth wheel I’m ready to switch to something less intense like water boarding.

I can’t remember the last time I cleaned the outside of my car. I’m on rural roads all the time it’s not worth it.
BMW: Answering the question “What if there were a wheel made ENTIRELY from nooks and crevices? Could we do that?”

Ritual for sure. Some cold weather a jacket and some headphones with a good podcast playing. Of course all this is when I had a driveway.

Little bit of both, but it’s a labor of love. Nothing more satisfying than a clean and detailed car. Feelsgoodman

If I had ~~nothing else to do with my life~~ no other passions/hobbies in life, and I had enough money to have a car modified to my liking, then it would totally become a ritual. But because I use 19-21 hours a day on average (I slept 2 hours this morning from 4-6) and am too broke to buy a nice to buy nice rims for, I don’t wash my shitbox.

ritual for sure. do everything very methodically, clean the parts most people don’t notice, take a few hours, listen to music, etc. i enjoy it.

Chore. god the [788m wheel](https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=3023871&stc=1&d=1667441240)s on my car are a pox on all of humanity when it comes to cleaning.

I love washing the car, but not the wheels.
